The Olukere of Ikere, Odo-Oja, Ikere local Government, Oba Abdulganiyu Ayodele Obasoyin has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji on the conferment of the Man of the year award on him by the Management of Silverbird TV.
The monarch in an interview with newsmen said he is elated that Oyebanji got the prestigious award which was well-deserved and a moral booster for the Governor, stressing that the award was not only for the Governor but also for the State.
The traditional ruler further noted that he is particularly delighted with all that the Governor had done so far across various communities of the state, as he continues to execute projects to benefit the generality of Ekiti people irrespective of party affiliation.
”That is the type of spirit Nigeria needs now to develop our sub-nationals. Oyebanji has demonstrated it”, Olukere said.
While describing the roads connectivity, infrastructure and human capital development, free surgical mission, hospitals and schools renovation at the instance of the BAO Administration, as really strategic, Oba Obasoyin joined that call for the continuity of the Governor till year 2030, to enable him do more for the people.
The paramount ruler further appreciated the Governor for his support for traditional institutions in the state urging him to cap his first tenure with the provision of befitting vehicles for the Obas.
