The Olukere of Ikere, Odo Oja, Ikere Local Government, HRM, Oba Abdulganiyu Ayodele Obasoyin (Okomolese II) has felicitated with Muslims in Ikere, Ekiti State and Nigeria on this year’s Eld Maulud celebration.
The royal father in his sallah message made available to Journalists said, “Today, I join millions of people around the world to wish our Muslim brothers and sisters in Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti State and Nigeria Happy Maulud Nabiy, which marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad(SAW).
Oba Obasoyin urged the Muslim faithful to be ambassadors of peace, and tranquillity and emulate the great examples and legacies of the Holy Prophet
“I want to urge us, especially Muslims to seize the opportunity to strengthen their love towards one another and make the society a better place by shunning tendencies that could tamper with the unity and stability in the country.
Olukere urged Nigerians to utilise the occasion of the Eid-el Maulud to pray to Almighty Allah for divine intervention on the nation’s economic sector which is biting harder daily on the populace with multiple increase in pump price, transport fares and on other commodities.
He called on President Bola Tinubu to rejig his economic policy, make visible his campaign promises to Nigerians which many are still hopeful and dismember the cabals working against the economic growth of the nation.
He congratulated Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, his deputy Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye and other Cabinet members of the Sallah Celebration and called on all Ekiti people to continue to support the BAO Administration which portends greater achievements in the state.
