The Chairman of Ise/Orun local Government, Mr Bamikole Ayodele has charged youths in the council area to embrace technical and vocational education to enable them develop physically, mentally and financially fend for themselves in their endeavors.
The Council Boss gave the charge at the graduation ceremony of some youths at Ise Ekiti Vocational Center.
Mr Ayodele said the Agency was designed for adult and Non formal education with a view to eradicating illiteracy through qualitative and functional education.
He added further that the vocational center was also an opportunity for out of school youths to acquire knowledge , skills to improve economic and social status and as well reduce poverty among the people.
The Ise/Orun Council Chairman commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji for providing necessary tools to improve the standard of education in the state, urging the first set of graduating students at the center to be focused and determine to be great in their future pursuits.

Mr Bamikole Ayodele promised to continue to complement the efforts of the Governor across the nooks and crannies of Ise/Orun council area.
The Senior Special Assistant, Vocational Education, Mr. Felix Olukayode applauded Governor Oyebanji giants strides towards ensuring that no segment of the society was lagging behind in his lofty policies and programmes especially in the education sector.
Also, the Secretary Agency for Adult and Non-Formal Education, Mrs M.O Falade commended the graduands for making themselves available for training in skills and acquisition knowledge which would in turn engender their financial sustainability.
The graduating students had undergone different training including fashion designing, hair dressing, bag making, soap making, catering amongst others.
