A Stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Honourable Adewale Ibraheem popularly known as “Yosiyo”has rejoiced with Muslim compatriots Ikere Ekit, Ekiti South West and Ise/Orun Council areas of Ekiti and Nigeria at large, on the joyous occasion of this year’s Eid el-fitr celebration.
In his goodwill message made available to Journalists on Thursday, the APC Chieftain noted that this significant celebration marks the successful completion of Ramadan, a period of devotion, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal. “As families and communities come together to share in the blessings of this sacred festival, it is a time for gratitude, reflection, and unity.
Yosiyo maintained that “the teachings of Ramadan—compassion, self-discipline, and generosity—serve as guiding principles for building a more harmonious society.”
Honourable Adewale Ibraheem acknowledged the invaluable contributions of the Muslim Ummah and urges all citizens to uphold the spirit of love, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence that Islam embodies.
He encouraged everyone to extend kindness to the less privileged and continue fostering the values of empathy and mutual respect.
“As we celebrate, I urge our Muslim faithful to continue to lead lives that exemplify such timeless virtues as self-denial, more prayers for humility, love, kindness, charity and forgiveness. We call for prayers for the nation’s unity, security and progress.
He also called for fervent prayers for the success of the present administration in Ekiti State under the leadership of Governor Biodun Oyebanji and his Deputy, Chief Monisade Afuye and landslide victory for them and the party in the June 20 Ekiti Guber election.
