The Commissioner in charge of Human Resources in the Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board(SUBEB), Dr. Olufunke Fajobi has congratulated all Christian faithful in Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti State and beyond on the successful completion of the Lenten season and the celebration of Easter that marked the crucifixions and resurrection of Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary.
In her message to all Christians, Honourable Fajobi encouraged all to uphold values of humility, self-discipline, love, compassion, generosity, and peace in consonance with the observation of the period.
The SUBEB Commis sioner spoke on the importance of love, forgiveness, patience, perseverance, peaceful co-existence and unity in fostering a harmonious Nation.
Fajobi noted that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day brought salvation, hope and peace to the World and implored Christians worldwide to uphold the lessons of Easter that preaches charity, kindness, compassion and sympathy at all times as exemplified by Jesus Christ.
She also advised citizens to celebrate reasonably and safely, remain law-abiding, security-conscious, and responsibly while extending kindness to the less privileged.
Hon. Fajobi appreciated the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji for his tremendous impacts in the education sector, the policies and programme according to her has make Ekiti highly rated in Nigeria
Fajobi then prayed that Almighty God would grant all sound health to witness another Easter.
