As the administration of local Council Chairmen in Ekiti State clocks 5 months, the Chairman of Ajoni local council development Area, Honourable Prince Michael Ogungbemi has assured the people that his administration will continue to be on the right track with his blueprint fully implemented for rapid socio economic development of the local area.
In an exclusive interview with theReportersNG, Prince Ogungbemi said on assumption of office, his administration instituted a community development roadmap targeted at complementing Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s agenda at the grassroot level.
According to him, the blueprint centers on Internal Security, Health Advocacy, Culture and Values, Clean Environment, Good Governance, Education and Empowerment.
He explained that the roadmap for sustainable development synchronizes with BAO’s Shared Proposed Vision promising that Ajoni LCDA is on the track of development.
Prince Michael Ogungbemi who gave the periscope of his monumental and life-impacting initiatives in the last 5 months noted that he had been able to consolidate on his first term achievements.
The Council Boss. said youths have been empowered using strategic approaches, particularly on Agric business; for them to be self-reliant and fend for themselves, while the local Authority facilitated the interventions of international partners with the support of Ekiti State government to transform others sectors like health, education, economic, sports and Security amongst others.
Prince Ogungbemi urged the people of Ajoni LCDA to continue to support the policies and programmes of Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji which tilts towards bringing prosperity back to the land.
He assured that more goodies of democracy will come the way of the community people, promising to always be accountable to the people.
The Ajoni Council Chairman says he will continue to hold regular engagement meetings with relevant stakeholders to fashion out mechanisms that will attract socio economic and infrastructural growth to the area.
