The Chairman of Ajoni Local Council Development Area(LCDA), Prince Michael Ogungbemi has expressed optimism that the Expanded Micro Small and Medium Enterprises(MSME), Clinic recently held in Ekiti State has opened windows of opportunities fro small scale business operators in the State.
Speaking with theReportersNG at the programme held in Ado Ekiti, the State Capital, Prince Ogungbemi explained that it was a forum for people to meet with relevant development partners and ruminate on the dos to boost their businesses.
The Ajoni Council said, ”the programme is an eye opening and enlightening. It gives opportunity for this clinics organized here today to give rooms for members of the public especially those that want to go into this thriving businesses at the local community to particiapte, venture, access loans and become very usueful persons in the society.”
He added that the initiative has aided and helped Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s human capital development’s drive that will lead to job creation, adding that the various opportunities opened from the Bank of Industry, Bank of Agriculture and other several investments aides will encourage the teeming youths that intend to grow businesses.
The Ajoni Council Chairman lauded Governor Oyebanji’s move towards ensuring that serious minded citizens become productive in the society.
Ogungbemi encouraged the unemployed, young graduates to take advantage of the opportunity of the venture to become productive.
X-raying his achievements so far in Ajoni local council, the Chairman said Agric Business, Educational and economic Development, Provision of necessary tools at basic health centers as well as youths and sports development toplisted his agenda
According to him, Ajoni local Development Council remains the only local council in the state that has a formidable football team registered with the Ekiti State Sport Council and can no play in the league.
