The Chairman of Ajoni Local Council Development Area, Prince Michael Ogungbemi(PMO) has congratulated the wife of Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji on her latest elevation to the rank of Associate Professor of Education Management.
The Council Boss in his congratulatory message made available to theReportersNG, said the pronouncement by the management of University of Ibadan was a joy to Ekiti State seeing the First Lady attaining to such enviable rank.
According to him, in the history of Ekiti State, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji is the first wife of Ekiti Governor that would be promoted as Associate Professor, the development He said was a plus and pride to the womenfolks.
He described Dr Oyebanji as a purposeful and hard-working woman who had been given necessary backing to her husband, Governor Biodun Oyebanji to succed in his Shared Prosperity Vision for the State.
Ogungbemi urged the First Lady to keep the flag flying and never relent at putting smiles on the downtrodden, sustain her girl child initiative and Gender Equality pursuit.
Prince Ogungbemi said; ” I, on behalf of my family, the entire people of Ajoni LCDA feel happy to congratulate the Governor’s Wife over this well-deserved honour done to her.”
The Ajoni LCDA Boss assures the Wife of the Governor of the support of all women in the local council towards the realization of her programmes to make life bearable for the citizens especially women with a bid for them not to be regarded as second class citizens in the country.
The ReportersNG had last week Friday reports that the wife of Ekiti Governor elevated as an Associate Professor in Education Management at the University of Ibadan.
The appointment was backdated to 2022.
