The Executive Chairnan of Ijero local government, Hon. Chief Julius Folowosele has applauded Governor Biodun Oyebanji over his award as “2024 Man of the Year” by the Silverbird Television, describing the award as timely and well deserving.
Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji was announced by the Management of Silverbird as winner of the 2024 award, having polled the highest number of votes to beat other nominees for the award category.
In his congratulatory message made available to Newsmen, the Ijero council boss said the award was in recognition of the demonstrated commitment of the Governor to the overall development of Ekiti State as well as the diligence and forthrightness with which he conduct the affairs of government in the state.
Chief Folowosele said he was convinced that Mr Governor has done a lot to deserve the honour as “2024 Man of the Year, adding that Oyebanji was on track of writing his name in gold in the heart of Ekiti citizens, assessing the various developmental strides and people-oriented programmes embarked upon in the last 26 months of governance.
“On behalf of the good people of Ijero local government, I wish to congratulate our talk and do Governor BAO for the award of “Silverbird TV Man of the Year 2024.” This award, we are convinced is as a result of your total commitment, diligence and forthrightness in conducting the affairs of governance in our dear state, Ekiti State.
The Council boss, Hon. Folowosele said the Governor deserves accolades for sterling qualities at developing the state and expressed the total support of people in the local council for the continuity of the governor’s administration till year 2030.
Folowosele said, ”I want to state factically that there is NO VACANCY AT THE GOVERNMENT IN 2026, Governor Oyebanji is our man and will ensure his stay till 2030.
