The lawmaker representing Moba Constituency 1 in the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Honorable(Mrs), Abimbola Solanke has felicitated with the immediate past Governor of Ekiti State, Dr John Kayode Fayemi (PhD, CON) as he marks his diamond jubilee birthday.
Honorable Solanke in a congratulatory message She personally signed, described him as a distinguished leader, statesman, core democrat, academia and renowned strategist whose name ring bell in the nation’s and African politics.
Solanke who served as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the former Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) between 2018-2022 and thereafter elected as a state lawmaker where is currently the House Committee Chairman on Health and Human Services further eulogized the erstwhile Governor’s wisdom and selflessness, adding that his dedication to public service has shaped the state’s history positively.
In her words: “We sincerely appreciate you for being a beacon of hope as your legacy would continue to inspire us and generations yet unborn.
Thank you Sir for breaking the jinx of being the first Governor to hand over to another Governor under the same Political party-the APC which had culminated in building up the legacy by our dear Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji through his Shared Prosperity vision resulting to improvement in the socio economic and infrastructural development of the state.

She prayed God to grant Dr. Fayemi a new chapter filled with happiness, good health and continued service to God and humanity.
