The Executive Chairman of Ikole West LCDA, Honourable (Mrs) Mosunmola Adeyemo, has distributed cash gifts and food items to about One hundred elderly citizens and Persons with disabilities(PWDs) in the council area as part of her efforts to celebrate the yuletide with people.
The programme held last Sunday, 21st December, 2025 at Asin Ekiti generated excitement and commendations across board.
The distribution, which the beneficiaries described as unprecedented in the history of the council area, created a festive atmosphere as aged sang, danced, and praised the Chairman for her generosity.
The Council Chairman in her remarks while distributing the items emphasized the importance of Christmas as a season of love and sharing, particularly with the less privileged.
Saying the gesture was another approach to complement the impacts of Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji at the local level, pledged to continue to put smiles on the faces of her people, as it is her personal instinct to improve the lives of individuals across religious and ethnic
The beneficiaries from across the communities also thanked the Council Chairman for her kindness towards the people.
