She noted that the creation of Ekiti State on October 1, 1996, was the product of years of agitation, determination and collective efforts by Ekiti sons and daughters, stressing that the sacrifices of the founding fathers must remain a source of inspiration to present and future generations.
According to the lawmaker who represents Moba Constituency 1, the past 30 years have demonstrated the strength, resilience and determination of Ekiti people to overcome challenges and pursue development despite changing circumstances.
The State Lawmaker acknowledged the contributions of successive administrations, traditional rulers, community leaders, civil servants and citizens to the growth of the state, saying the progress recorded over the years reflects the collective efforts of its people.
Solanke also congratulated Governor Biodun Oyebanji and the people of Ekiti State on the anniversary, urging stakeholders to use the occasion to renew their commitment to the peace, unity and development of the state.
She called on the younger generation to learn from the sacrifices of the founding fathers and contribute meaningfully to building a stronger and more prosperous Ekiti.
