The Executive Chairman of Ikole West LCDA, Honourable(Mrs) Mosunmola Adeyemo popularly called ”OPELOPE BAO” has congratulated Governor Biodun Oyebanji on his re-election as Governor of Ekiti State, describing the victory as an affirmation of his visionary and transformational leadership.
Hon. Adeyemo in a statement, yesterday, noted that “the overwhelming victory Oyebanji recorded in last Saturday’s poll has now made him the first Governor to run a back to back government in the state’s political history.”
She also commended the peaceful conduct of the election by the people of Ekiti State, security agencies and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Honourable Mosunmola Adeyemo praised Oyebanji(BAO) for bringing discipline, grace, brilliance and a fresh perspective to governance in Ekiti, adding that under his leadership, the state is living up to its motto as the ‘The Land of Honour.’
The Ikole West LCDA Boss said: “Governor Biodun Oyebanji -the Jinx Breaker, has demonstrated that, indeed, knowledge is power and that academic principles can be applied in serving the people, undergirding accountability, transparency and prudent management of people and resources.”
She expressed confidence that Oyebanji’s second term would consolidate on the gains of his first administration and further accelerate the development of Ekiti State, while also also pledging the continued support of people in Ikle West LCDA for the Governor’s efforts to achieve a prosperous and well developed state.
