The Crown Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti has matriculated about One thousand five hundred qualified students into the various programmes of the institution for the 2024/2025 academic session.
At the ceremony held in the Polytechnic campus, the Rector, Dr. Kola Ajisola said the institution has started teaching and learning Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other related technology courses.
The 17th edition of Crown Polytechnic Matriculation had the students admitted into the full time and part time National Diploma (ND) programmes and Higher National Diploma (HND).
The Rector, Dr Ajisola charged the matriculants to imbibe the best academic culture for excellent results in their chosen careers, saying that the institution will only award certificates to students found worthy in academics and morals.
He affirmed that the programmes being run in the institution are fully accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and other relevant professional bodies, while the institution aside the entrepreneurship programme had also created a centre for Technical training.
The Rector thanked Governor Biodun Oyebanji for supporting the Polytechnic in its Agricultural programme through clearing of 20 hectares on the Polytechnic farmland to boost food sufficiency.

The students promised to abide by the rules and regulations guiding their studentship and also expressed their resolve to brace up for the academic tasks ahead.
The Ekiti State, Coordinator, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Mr Kayode Dada lauded the management of the institution for improving on its vision for the school with an assurance that the Polytechnic will produce graduates that will positively affect the Society.
The ceremony had Principal Officers, students, parents and wife of the Proprietor, Mrs Olufunke Ajisola in attendance.
