As the Independent Electoral Commission(INEC) resumes its Continuous Voters Registration(CVR) exercise across the nation on Monday, a Stalwart of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Ekiti State, Erelu Kemi Elebute-Halle has called on all eligible voters in Ekiti State to key into the exercise.
The call became expedient barely 10 months to Ekiti Governorship election
She urged eligible voters to visit designated registration centeRs for corrections of personal details and replacement of lost or damaged Permanent Voter Cards.
Erelu Halle said, ‘’the Continuous Voter’s registration exercise is for citizens who just turned 18 years old or above 18 but have not registered to vote. It is also for registered voters who lost their PVC or whose PVC’s got damaged as they have the opportunity to apply for replacement and voters who had issues during accreditation of voters on election day in previous editions, and those want to transfer their voter’s registration to their current location.’’
Erelu Halle Elebute who was a former Governorship candidate in the 2022 election, urged citizens of Ekiti to advantage of the exercise to rejig their voting rights.
While commending the transformational drive of President Bola Tinubu led- federal government, the APC Stalwart said Nigerian populace are already the impacts which She will beneficial on the long run.
She highlighted significant achievements in economic revitalization, social welfare, security, and national development, adding that the Renewed Hope agenda of Mr President was not just a slogan, but a comprehensive blueprint for Nigeria’s progress, urging Nigerians to keep faith.
