The Ekiti State Head of Service, Dr Folakemi Olomojobi has urged public servants in the state to register in the ongoing continuous voter registration (CVR) process, which was reviewed, with the hitches and solutions noted for smooth processes.
Olomojobi made the call wile speaking with theReportersNG in Ado Ekiti.
She urged Civil Servants across Ministries, Departments, Agencies(MDAs) and Parastatals to participate in the electoral process by registering with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to have a chance to participate in the forthcoming Ekiti gubernatorial election scheduled for Saturday, 20th of June 2026.
The Ekiti State Head of Service who noted that “In-person registration has already began, maintained that the call has become imperative as Workers play important roles in the runnings of government through the implementation of its policies and programmes.
“It’s important our workers both at the local and state levels come out in their large number for this INEC driven voters card registration exercise for the governorship election slated for next year in the state. Voter’s card is the only allowed tool that can be used to sustain the development strides being experienced in the state, She stressed.’’
She explained that the exercise would allow first-time voters and those seeking to transfer or replace their Permanent Voter Cards to complete the process ahead of the elections.
