The Executive Chairman of Ijero local government area of Ekiti State, Honourable (Chief) Julius Abayomi Folwosele has congratulated Muslims on the occasion of the 2025 Eid-el-Maulud celebration, which commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad.
Folowosele in a statement made available to Newsmen called for prayers for Ijero Ekiti, Ekiti State and Nigeria and its political, religious, and traditional leaders, especially by Islamic faithful just as the 2026 State Gubernatorial election approaches.
Honourable Folowosele urged Muslim adherents to follow the exemplary leadership and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad by promoting peaceful co-existence among fellow citizens.
He urged people to avoid all divisive inclinations and seek to improve the State, noting that the commemoration of the Holy Prophet’s birth should reaffirm the importance of unity in the face of diversity.

The Ijero Council boss urged people to pray without ceasing for the administration of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji(BAO) to experience better progress and multifaceted development as well as victory for him in the October 27, APC primary election in the State.
