A Member of Ekiti state house of Assembly representing Moba Constituency 1, Honourable(Mrs) Abimbola Solanke has congratulated the entire Nigerians on the occasion of 65th Independence anniversary of the Nation.
In a statement to commemorates the 65th Independence Day anniversary made available to newsmen, Hon. Solanke urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in their believe in building a strong, united and prosperous country.
The State Lawmaker said, “let us be driven forward by our zeal to strengthen our diversity, culture and beliefs as we remain one nation bound in freedom.
She also paid glowing tributes to distinguished citizens who fought tooth and nail to ensure the creation of the state on October 1, 1996.

“When we look back now, we have every reason to thank God and the founding fathers who, in spite of the grueling difficulty, refused to be daunted in their single-minded determination to see that Ekiti was created in the pursuit of rapid socioeconomic development of our people.” sais Solanke
It is a thing of pride for us to look back at our humble beginnings 29 years ago and to see how far we have come across the various sectors of human development,” She said.
“To my dear constituents, I want to assure you that I will continue to be your voice in the State House of Assembly, fighting for your rights and interests with integrity and dedication. “May this Independence day anniversary brings further positive turnaround, unimaginable fortune, unity of purpose, and breakthrough for Nigeria and Nigerians.
“As we reflect, and celebrate our 64th Independence anniversary, we must remember to keep hope alive by dedication to service, courage to uplift the nation and Ekiti State at all times and the supreme sacrifices for our common prosperity.
