A strong party member in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Honourable Adewale Ibraheem popularly known as “YOSIYO” has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians across Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti South West, Ise/Orun council areas, Ekiti state and beyond, urging them to embody the virtues of agape love and sacrifice demonstrated by Jesus Christ.
In a statement issued by his spokesperson on Saturday, and made available to newsmen, Honourable Ibraheem called on Nigerians, particularly his constituents, to use the Easter celebration as a period of sober reflection.
He emphasized that the resurrection of Christ is a symbol of hope and renewal, noting that Nigerians should draw strength from it, especially during these challenging times marked by economic hardship and widespread poverty.
In his words: “As we celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, I urge us to reflect on His selfless love and sacrifice. Now more than ever, we must extend compassion to one another and remain hopeful. There is light at the end of the tunnel.”
The US based Ikere Ekiti born politician also called for fervent prayers for the nation, seeking divine intervention in the face of growing economic and social challenges.
Ibraheem further expressed deep appreciation to his constituents for their continued support and trust in his capacity in terms of effective representation.
He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to leveraging every available opportunity and resource to attract democratic dividends to all members of the APC across board.
Yosiyo prayed for God’s blessings upon everyone, wishing them a peaceful, joyful, and healthy Easter celebration.
