A Stalwart of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Honourable Adewale Ibraheem popularly called ”YOSIYO” has urged Muslims in Ekiti State and Nigeria to pray for peace, security, stability and unity of the nation.
Ibraheem made the call in his Eid-El-Kabir message to Muslims and called on them to remain steadfast and committed to the cause of one, united Nigeria.
While enjoining them to also use the occasion to reach out to the less-privileged, Yosiyo said, “I want to urge our Muslim brothers and sisters to always be guided by the attributes and lessons from the life and times of Holy Prophet Mohammed (SAW), which symbolize holiness, peace, love and tolerance. We must put Ekiti State and Nigeria first in all our endeavours.”
He urged the Muslim community in the country to be worthy ambassadors of the faith by living out the virtues of Prophet Mohammed.
“Let me extend my warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah in my constituency and Nigeria at large, as they celebrate Eid-El-Kabir Sallah festival.”
