It was a joyful moment on tuesday as the Founder of Brighter Days Charity Foundation (BDCF), Yeye Oba Bosede Atitebi presented a Cheque worth Two Hundred Thousand Naira (N200,000) to Mr Solomon Olatunde -a Victim of Fulani Herders whose farmland was detsroyed in Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria barely a month ago
This gesture followed a viral video shared Online by the Victim which aroused the attention of the US-based Philantropist and called that the man’s located and authencity of the incident be verified.
Yeye Oba Atitebi who saw the narration of the victim in the video, out of her magnanimity for the less privilege and poorest of the poor in the society promised to reach out in form of support to the said Man who was also a Clergy turned farmer.
A team of Volunteers from the Brighters Day Charity Foundation made the presentation on behalf of the Fpunder/CEO at Gege area of Ikere Ekiti, Nigeria, noting that the Foundation was designed to assist the less privilege, orphans and widows amongst others in the society, while promising that Yeye Oba Atitebi would not relent in her quest at bringing succor to the faces of the downtrodden.
Responding to the gesture, Mr Solomon Olatunde expressed gratitude to the Founder of BDCF for the kindhearted support despite the fact that he was unknown to her, adding that Yeye Bosede Atitebi was the first person to reach out to her with financial support since the incident happened.
He prayed for her longevity and success of the foundation.
Still in the spirit of Easter and Ramadan Palliatiaves Distribution, the Team of Brighter Days Charity Foundation was in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State Capital to distribute food items and cash gifts to about 150 less privilege Muslim faithfuls who are Hausas and residents in the city.
Beneficiaries of the largesse who were converged by the State Seriki of Hausa, Alhaji Danjuma Abdul Yusuf at a Mosque in Okebola street of Ado Ekiti were told that the Founder was not a Politician and does ot intend to be, adding that the initiatve was a direct charisma to impac on the needy in the society
The Seriki Hausa in Ekiti State, Alhaji Danjuma Abdul Yusuf thanked the Founder of BDCF for the prompt support for the needy in times like and prayed for her success in all endeavours.
The 3in 1 events held at different locations also featured the presented of cash gifts to two Traffic Officers who had distinguished themselves on their chosen career courtesy of Yeye Atitebi, which a message that the money was a gift and not a bribe but to appreciate their hardwork and diligence in the line of duty.
This was the second time the beneffiting officers will be receiving such gifts from the CEO of BDCF as She also recognized them in December last year for their doggedness as Traffic Officers and called on them not to relent on the job while calling on others to imbibe such spirit of making Ekiti proud.
