Prince Owoeye, in a goodwill message issued in Lagos on Tuesday, encouraged Christians to be mindful of the real essence of Christmas, which, according to him, is the celebration of the love of God for mankind demonstrated through the birth of Jesus Christ whose teachings on peace still resonate more than 2000 years after his birth.
“Christ manifested in human form to show the love of God towards mankind. His love for the human race is typified by the sacrifice He made by leading man back to God. Jesus made himself a perfect exemplar of the values of love, humility, kindness, righteous living and fruits of the spirit which would guarantee eternal life”, Owoeye added.
In the same vein, the Industrialist charged Nigerians to be liberal during the Yuletide by sharing their material possessions with the needy to mitigate the effect of the prevailing economic condition on fellow citizens adding that sharing is a cardinal principle of Christianity.
Speaking on President Tinubu economic reforms policy, Prince Owoeye who is a Chartered Accountant by training and also an International Commodity Trader, said though the policies sometime come with temporary effects, but however expressed optimism that those policies will yield significant results on a long run.
The Ikogosi Ekiti born entrepreneur eulogized the spate of development ongoing across Ekiti State under the leadership of Governor Biodun Oyebanji and called on people of the state both home and abroad to continue to support the Governor towards achieving his mandate for the state. .
He called on Nigerians to support the President Renewed Hope Agenda with a view to fostering business growth.
According to him, “so far, the cooperation, love, and support for the Governor Oyebanji’s administration is yielding evident dividends of democracy in terms of infrastructural developments at the grassroots, better education sector, security of lives and property, as well as enabling environment for private businesses to thrive.”
