The Commissioner in charge of Human Resources Management, Dr Olufunke Fajobi and Commissioner, Project Management, Barrister (Dr) Kayode Adeoye in Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board(SUBEB) have felicitated the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji on the award of ”Man of the Year” by Silverbird Television.
The duo described the award as “deserving to a wonder working Governor” who has been making ways at modernizing educational facilities to engender an environment conducive for learning and teaching as well as increase school enrolment, providing skills and values needed for the future and positioning pupils to become global citizens.
The two SUBEB Commissioners said beyond the significant investments made in innovative teaching, teachers capacity development, Governor Oyebanji’s has placed premium on schools renovation which has tremendously improve infrastructure in both primary and secondary schools across the state.
Fajobi and Adeoye who further acknowledged the Governor for ensuring that Ekiti students have access to world-class education and facilities, noted that Oyebanji has set a benchmark for others to follow as his impacts in toher sectors like Agriculture, Health, Roads Infrastructure, Power amongst others speak volume.
