The Publisher and Editorial Board of theReporterNG have celebrated a former Nigeria Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory, Princess (Elder) Adebisi Oguneye, on her 80th birthday.
The Global Online News blog, in a press release issued by his Editor in-Chief, Emmanuel Babalola described Princess Oguneye as a patriotic Nigerian and an illustrious daughter of a Royal family in Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria.
He recalled the Octogenarian played a significant role as a member of the National Economic Intelligence Committee under the late Head of State, General Sani Abacha with oversight functions of government projects and formulations of economic policies for the nation.
According to him, the Ikere Ekiti born Princess also served Nigeria in her capacity at providing the needed infrastructure to ensure the sustenance of democracy after the demise of the late General Sani Abacha, especially in the visibility of the National Assembly complex, the secretariat, roads, and other government infrastructural facilities.
