A member of the House of Representatives in Abuja, Honourable Kolawole Davidson Akinlayo has congratulated Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi on his nomination as the Chairman of the South West Development Commission.
Akinlayo who represents Ekiti North federal constituency 2 comprising Ido/Osi. Ilejemeje and Moba local government areas described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition considering the steadfast dedication of Adetunmbi to the development of the South West region and his outstanding contributions to national growth.
The Ikosu Ekiti born -federal lawmaker expressed optimism that the South West Development Commission will become a catalyst for regional integration, infrastructure development, economic empowerment, and human capital advancement under the stewardship of Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi— thereby bringing the dreams and aspirations of our people to fruition.
Describing the Ifaki Ekiti born Senator as a seasoned legislator and policy thinker, Honourable Akinlayo said that the nomination comes at a time the region was in dire need of visionary leadership and strategic direction, noting that the wealth of experience of Adetunmbi, his deep understanding of development economics, and track record of effective representation at the National Assembly was an assurance that the Commission is in capable hands.
