The Chairman further appealed to the Muslim faithful to eschew any form of unlawful behavior that could disrupt the relative peace enjoyed in the area and the state at large.
“I appeal to all and sundry to sustain the tempo of support and continue to pray for His Excellency, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, Governor of Ekiti State and other leaders to succeed,” he said.
The Chairman further reassured the citizens of Ijero Local Government of his administration’s dedication to their welfare. “The government will continue to put its best efforts forward to alleviate the plight of our citizens.
The Eid-El-Kabir celebration, also known as the festival of sacrifice, commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s (A.S.) unwavering faith and obedience to Allah. It is a time for Muslims around the world to reflect on their faith, engage in acts of charity, and strengthen community bonds.
