An Ikere Ekiti born US -bassd Stalwart of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Honourable Adewale Ibraheem popularly known as “Yosiyo” has hailed the verdicts of an Abuja two different federal high Courts that dismissed the suits filed by Abimbola Olajumoke and loyalists of Kayode Ojo challenging the conduct and legitimacy of the primary election that produced Biodun Oyebanji as the party’s flagbearer in the June 20, 2026 Gubernatorial election in Ekiti State.
Honourable Ibraheem said the verdicts proved the significance of APC party’s constitution which all members particularly those willing to contest for political positions must adhere to.
Yosiyo insisted that Governor Oyebanji remain validly the Gubernatorial candidate of the APC, saying that now that the matter has been thrown out of the court of jurisprudence, supporters of BAO who are readily determined before should continue to stand firm and redouble their decisions to ensure BAO’s victory in the coming poll.
He described both judgements as victories for democracy, the rule of law, and internal party democracy, urging members to focus on the victory of the All Progressives Congress(APC) Candidate in the coming election.

Yosiyo, who urged all party stakeholders to join hands with the Oyebanji’s administration in the collective task of building a greater state, expressed optimism that Ekiti will experience more multifaceted development during the second tenure of the Governor.
