The Crown Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti has matriculated about One thousand two hundred students into the various academic programmes of the institution for the 2025/2026 academic session.
At the ceremony held on the school campus, the Rector, Dr. Kola Ajisola urged the new students to uphold the values and standards of the institution.
The event held at the institution sports complex, had Principal Officers, students and Ekiti State Coordinator of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in attendance.
The 18th edition of Crown Polytechnic Matriculation ceremony had the students admitted into full time and part time National Diploma (ND) programmes and Higher National Diploma (HND) in the Schools of Business, Engineering Technology, Environmental Studies, Science and Applied science.
The Rector, Dr Kolawole Ajisola charged the matriculants to imbibe the best academic culture for excellent results in their chosen careers, saying certificates would only be awarded to students found worthy in academics and morals.
Dr. Ajisola said that the primary purpose of their studentship was to gain knowledge, skills that will make them productive in future.
The Crown Polytechnic Rector assured that the programmes being run in the institution are fully accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and other relevant professional bodies
The new intakes earlier had been administered the matriculation oath by the Registrar,
The students promised to abide by the rules and regulations guiding their studentship while also resolved to brace up for the tasks ahead.
The representative of Ekiti State, Coordinator of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Mr Ganiyu Ishola lauded the institution’s management for improving its vision, said that the certificates obtained at Crown Polytechnic were the same with their colleagues in other institutions.
Crown Polytechnic Ado was established and licenced as a private institution by the Federal Government in 2008.
