No fewer than 300 residents of Ikole West LCDA in Ekiti State have received food items from the Executive Chairman of the council area, Honourable (Mrs) Mosunmola Adeyemo popularly known as “Opelope BAO.”
This was one of the series of largesse being dolled out to residents by Honourable Adeyemo to complement the efforts of Governor Biodun Oyebanji in the council area.
Beneficiaries from towns under the area like Ikoyi, Ilamo, Isaba, Asin, Usin, Igbonna, Otunja converged on Asin Ekiti to receive the food items which contained both Rice and Beans fully packed together with the pictures of BAO and Mosunmola Adeyemo.
Addressing the beneficiaries at the event which had party leaders and members in attendance, the Ikole West LCDA Chairman, Adeyemo said countdown to June 20 Guber election has begun and stressed the need to continue to stand firm for the victory of Governor Biodun Oyebanji -the APC Flagbearer who has demonstrated strong track record in all sectors since inception.
She emphasized the need for all eligible voters resident in Ikole West LCDA to get their PVCs ready, follow the path of progress and vote APC and Oyebanji, the sure platform where their voices are being heard for improved living standards and socio-economic and infrastructural growth

According to her, “We are for Governor Oyebanji in all the wards in Ikole, don’t let anyone or indigene from the opposition deceive you by any guise. Where were they in the last 3 years, they were outside the state without remembering you people at home. Now they are back to tell you stories and after now, they will go back and come again in the next four years. My people, follow the path where peace, progress and prosperity abound.”
In their remarks, some APC leaders in Ikole West LCDA and Ikole local government including the Women leader, Hon. Bose Oluyemi, Chief Ademola Ayodele and the husband of the Council Chairman, Chief David Adeyemo said that Governor Oyebanji had performed excellently well across council areas.
They urged beneficiaries and other party loyalists to continue with their house to house and person to person campaigns to deliver overwhelming votes for the Governor in the June 20 election.
