The Executive Chairman of Ikole West Local Council Development(LCDA), Honourable (Mrs) Mosunmola Adeyemo popularly called ‘’OPELOPE BAO’’ has again presented cash support funds to the security agencies in the area to strengthen their operational capacity and improve personnel welfare.
She made the presentation at the council secretariat in Usin Ekiti during a meeting held with representatives of the Nigeria Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Department of State Services (DSS), Amotekun Corps, and local hunters.
As part of the gesure, the Ikole Council Boss, Hon. (Mrs) Adeyemo also donated 50 uniform and other kits to the local hunters,
She noted that the initiative was part of her administration’s continued investment in supporting security agencies in the quest to tackling security challenges and sustain peace across various communities in the council area.
The Ikole West LCDA Boss, Hon. Mosunmola Adeyemo -(OPELOPE BAO), reviewed the security situation of the axis in recent time and lauded operatives for displaying a high sense of professionalism and discipline in handling security matters.
“On behalf of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO), the Management of Ikole West LCDA, appreciate your unwavering commitment to the security of Ikole West. Your contributions are invaluable, and we remain committed to supporting your operations,” Mosunmola said.
OPELOPE BAO stressed that investing in the welfare and protection of security personnel is essential to building a resilient security system capable of responding effectively to emerging threats.
“We will continue to encourage and support you by providing the resources needed to boost your morale and enhance your performance. We look forward to doing even more to strengthen our partnership,” Hon. Mosunmola Adeyemo added.
She reaffirmed the commitment of the local council to complementing the efforts of the Oyebanji’s administration by providing operational support that improves effectiveness, morale and inter-agency collaboration.
