The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship Candidate for Ifesowapo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Adetiloye John Adegoke, has paid tribute to the founding fathers of Ekiti State, commending their vision, sacrifices and determination in the struggle for the creation of the state.
Adetiloye, in a congratulatory message marking the 30th anniversary of Ekiti State, also congratulated Governor Biodun Oyebanji and the people of the state, describing the milestone as an opportunity to reflect on Ekiti’s journey, celebrate its achievements and renew the collective commitment to a more prosperous future.
He noted that the creation of Ekiti State on October 1, 1996, was the culmination of years of agitation, perseverance and collective determination by the people and their leaders.
According to him, the sacrifices and contributions of the founding fathers remain an enduring legacy that must be preserved and passed on to generations yet unborn.
The Ifesowapo LCDA APC chairmanship candidate observed that Ekiti had recorded significant development across various sectors in the last three decades, acknowledging the contributions of successive administrations, traditional institutions, community leaders and citizens to the state’s growth and development.
