The Managing Director of Elephant Group Plc and Chairman Board of Trustee National Cashew Association of Nigeria (NCAN), Prince Tunji Owoeye has eulogized the approval of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority(NCAA) on Non-Schedule flight operation at Ekiti State Cargo International Airport in Ado Ekiti.
Speaking with newsmen in Lagos, Prince Owoeye described the development as a good omen for Ekiti State government and people, just as the yuletide approaches.
Owoeye-a Prince in Ikogosi Ekiti attributed the flight operations to the resilience of Governor Biodun Oyebanji at making the State a viable destination for Agro-Allied investors.
Prince Owoeye who is also member of the Agriculture and food Security Policy Commission of the Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG) expressed confidence that the December 15 take off of Non schedule Cargo operations in Ekiti will increase investment opportunities and stimulate economic growth, calling on investors across the world to visit the state and support the Governor’s giant strides.
According to him ”NCAA is responsible for the safety, security, economic, and reliability of air navigation in Nigeria., so I urged the authority to follow its mandate at providing aviation safety and economic regulatory services in a technologically-driven manner in Ekiti State.
”Our dear State, Ekiti has now joined the comity of states in Nigeria that process cargoes for import and export. I Congratulate Governor Oyebanji for walking the talk and taking up the responsibility to activate the functionality of the Cargo Airport” said Prince Owoeye.
Saying more developments will come the state under the leadership of Governor Oyebanji, the MD Elephant Group called on well meaning Ekiti ketes globally to support the Governor to achieve His Shared Prosperity Agenda.
