The Executive Chairman, Ikole West LCDA, Ekiti State, Honourable (Mrs) Mosunmola Adeyemo has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) for emerging Winner of the Silverbird TV 2024 Personality of the Year Award.
In a congratulatory message made available to Newsmen, the Council Boss said said the award given the governor was due to his outstanding achievements in just two years in office, saying that this was greatly influenced by his exceptional leadership style ranging from fiscal discipline, transparency, infrastructural and human capital development across the state.
Adeyemo said the recognition given the Governor in Lagos was well-deserved, and vowed to continue to throw more support behind his administration.
According to the statement, Governor Oyebanji is one man who has managed the monies of the state prudently, being the only governor who has not borrowed a dime from anywhere to run the affairs of the state.
“And if you go to various Communities, projects are ongoing– roads and Bridges are being constructed– Mr Governor has extended the initiative to our area, almost all the link roads, for instance, work is going along Ikole, Isaba, Ikoyi to Igbemo Ekiti road, women empowerment, upscaling education and agricultural sectors, prompt payment of salaries and pensions as well as gratuities are part numerous programmes of the Governor as encapsulated in his Shared Prosperity vision.
The Ikole West LCDA Boss, assured Governor Oyebanji of the full support of her people in the area for the continuity of his administration till year 2030.
