A member of Ekiti State House of Assembly, representing Moba constituency One, Honorable(Mrs) Abimbola Solanke has felicitated with Muslims in her constituency and other parts of the Ekiti State as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitri, which marks the end of Ramadan.
The lawmaker in her Salah message to constituents urged the Muslim Ummah to continue to live by the spiritual lessons of Ramadan.
Honorable Solanke, who is Chairman, House Committee on Health, Human Services and HIV/AIDS, urged Muslims to uphold virtues such as acts of kindness, love for others, fairness and self denial cultivated during the holy month.
She called on Muslims and adherents of other faiths to use the occasion of Eid-el-Fitri to offer prayers for the nation as it seeks solutions to its present challenges.
She added, “I urge my Muslim faithful to emphasize the need for continued devotion to prayer and righteous living as essential components of spiritual growth and societal harmony. I also encourage my constituents to channel the goodwill and blessings of Ramadan towards fostering peace, unity, and development in Ekiti State and Nigeria.’’
Solanke eulogized the synergy between the executive and legislative arm of government in Ekiti State and called for the continuous relationship just as She promised the people of her constituency effective representation in the state House of Assembly with them enjoying the deliverables of the present APC led government.
The State lawmaker also sought more support for Governor Oyebanji’s administration in his quest to develop all sectors of the state.
