A member of Ekiti State House of Assembly representing Moba constituency 1, Honorable (Mrs) Abimbola Solanke has congratulated the Christians on this year’s 2025 celebration of Easter which is to commemorate the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Honorable Solanke in a statement made available to Newsmen on Saturday said the celebration offer Christians the opportunity to pray for the state country and its leadership as well as deepen peaceful co-existence with other people irrespective of religious differences.
She called on all to exhibit the virtues of sacrifice, patience, love and abiding faith for a better tomorrow as exemplified in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ
The Chairman House Committee on Health, Human Services and HIV/AIDS who lauded the synergy between the legislative and executive arms of government in Ekiti State, noted that Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has made ways in his developing critical sectors in the state, like health, education, agriculture, roads infrastructure, job creation, empowerment initiatives amongst others.
These according to her was made realizable through the bills passed by members of the state house of Assembly with an assurance that the She will not relent at supporting the Governor to succeed with more deliverables reaching her people at Moba Constituency One of Ekiti State.
“As you are aware that the APC led government at both state and Federal level is laying a foundation on the right trajectory of positive economic development’, he stated.
theReporterNG further reports Solanke called on Nigerians to remain hopeful and support government’s efforts in the challenge of building a better society devoid of rampant insecurity adding that as the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ opened a window for salvation of sinners to make heaven, there is hope for a better Nigeria with hard work and prayers.
“Governor Oyebanji with the support of our dear President Bola Tinubu have shown courage in doing what is right for the state and I have no doubt that we will be seeing more dividends of democracy soon.
