The Commissioner in charge of Project Management at Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board(EKSUBEB), Barrister (Dr) Kayode Adeoye has extended his warm felicitations and goodwill messages to all Christians in the state and Nigeria at large as they commemorate this year’s Easter celebrations.
In his Easter message Commissioner stated that the season marks the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, embodying the core values of sacrifice, love, forgiveness, and hope—virtues that remain fundamental to our collective existence as a people.
Dr Adeoye urged all Christian faithful to use this period to pray for the peace, progress, and development of Ekiti State and Nigeria at large, stressing that citizens are encouraged to celebrate responsibly while upholding the values of peaceful coexistence, religious tolerance, and national unity.
Dr Adeoye further acknowledges the significance of the season to the Christian faith saying that it is a time of deep reflection, renewal, and recommitment to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
The SUBEB Commissioner urged all Christian faithful to use this period to pray for the peace, progress, and development of Ekiti State and Nigeria at large, stressing that citizens are encouraged to celebrate responsibly while upholding the values of peaceful coexistence, religious tolerance, and national unity.
Adeoye likewise felicitated with all leaders and members of the All Progressive Congress(APC) in Moba Council area and other parts of the state, thanking them for supporting the present administration’s giant strides which spread tentacles to all sectors and evident across the nooks and crannies of the state.
He described Governor Biodun Oyebanji as a teacher-friendly Governor, noting that his tremendous intervention programmes especially in the education sector speak volume thereby making Ekiti State rank one of the bests in the country.
